Ken graduated from Westfield Vocational High School with honors in 1989. He was in the Electronics Technology program, and had perfect attendance in his freshmen, sophomore, and junior years, only to lose perfect attendance for all four years in his third semester of his senior year when he lost a week due to a rare shingles outbreak. Whilst at "Voke" he was the president of the Student Council and the representative for both the School Advisory Committee and the Regional Student Advisory council, where he was part of a committee that was responsible for getting the hazing policies in all of the school handbooks in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He was also the photographer and the editor of the class of 1989 yearbook.
In 1989 Ken formed "Kalypso Productions", a multi-faceted entertainment company. What started out as a mobile disk jockey service quickly turned into running various karaoke shows throughout the Valley. Ken then dove into promoting local bands for a few years, and now works sound and lighting with a local production agency and can still be seen running PA on his own. Kalypso Productions is still a functioning entity.
Ken first started getting involved in the community by helping form a neighborhood crime watch community, which met all of the requirements to be officially recognized by the local police department. He went on to getting involved with community radio in 2014 and is still hosting and producing a weekly morning drive talk format program. The community radio work led to being an associate producer with Westfield Community Programming Channel 15 (WCPC-15), where he hosts, directs, and produces local content for the Westfield community access television studio. Ken was a board member of the Westfield 350 committee, and is currently a board member with Westfield On Weekends, a non-profit organization that puts on entertaining events for the Westfield community.

He knows how to use tools and how to think for himself. He can march to his own beat and does not require supervision to perform tasks handed to him. He excels at finding solutions to problems. Lately, Ken has been on or near several NASA facilities to film rocket launches from a different perspective with WCPC-15.
